Perfecting the Lyra
Gavin Smith
Aero Motion creates individually designed and custom built Circus Aerial apparatus. Our creation process is unique, simple and will add artistic flair to your act. What sets us apart from anyone else in the world is that we are engineering artists who have been building our own creations since the beginning of our professional career and we add all the experience and features to our products so that you will get to know and want to know how to use them and incorporate into your act.
We add the finishing touches to our creations like they were our own, such as dressing the ropes in durable fabrics so they won't tear on the first couple of uses, tapering the splices so they blend in with the lines, and lastly, the paint, colour, texture and depth of richness and gloss that have been our signature feature.
Our collaboration with paint and surface preparation specialists has given our apparatus the depth and character of any great artwork. The most important part of painting is the surface preparation, this will ensure the paint won't flake off or chip if bumped on sharp edges, it is a high-quality process from start to finish!
We can now apply a range of colours, with pearl-essence, metallic, high gloss clear, textures and paint effects which had previous been very expensive to apply. This means that you often won't have to apply cloth grip tape. When you see what is possible to create with powder coated finishes, you'll want to order our clear propeller tape or just go with the naked finish!
