International Operations - Aerial Rigging in the Maldives

We take a look at our latest installation where we get to experience the Maldives and all the challenges and possibilities it has to offer. The Outdoor Aerial Rigging project, for our clients Singha Estate Consulting on location at the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, was developed over many months of consultation and design to understand the vision of what our client sees as the perfect fit for purpose.
We worked with our partners to develop a handcrafted outdoor aerial rigging structure with the most advanced rigging concepts and equipment to withstand the harsh conditions on the small coral atoll in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
Add to the tyranny of distance and several time zones, the remote location of not only our Australian base of operations but the site for the installation also has its unique remoteness.
We shipped a 40-foot container load of Australian made alloy truss to build the structural element of the rig and packed every square inch of space with aerial rigging equipment like trapeze bars, Lyra's, aerial fabric, rigging hardware, custom-built engineered equipment to provide a turn-key solution to a highly complex rig.
The rigging system had to be safe and secure to enable our client's confidence when providing their guests with a unique experience, unlike anything available today.
